I've spent 15+ years at the intersection of luxury, media, and technology — and the whole time, one question never left me: why isn't any of this personalized?

At Modern Luxury Media, I watched content get optimized obsessively — for ad impressions, for page views, for everything except the person actually reading it. The data was there. The signals were there. Nobody was connecting them to the user. That friction became my fixation.

It turns out, I've always thought in systems. Long before I understood what a knowledge graph was, I was organizing music into structured taxonomies, building one of the largest digital collections in Colorado, not because I had to, but because it felt wrong for things to be disconnected. That same instinct drove me toward graph databases, behavioral intelligence, machine learning, and the science of how people, places, and preferences actually relate to one another.

Now I'm building the infrastructure I always wished existed, where a hotel, a restaurant, a brand, a rewards benefit, and a real human preference finally speak the same language. Fifteen years in luxury advertising taught me what affluent consumers expect. The technical education taught me how to actually deliver it.

At 14, I said I was going to build Jarvis from Iron Man. Today, I just call her Luxy.
